What To Expect On Your First Visit:

Realizing that pain is almost always a symptom of an underlying health condition, Dr. Retterath's approach to pain management is comprehensive.

​

We will review your past treatments with you.

Your visit will take two or more hours.

You will need to be off of blood thinners for six days, if you wish to have an injection.

You may eat and take pain medicines the day of your appointment unless otherwise directed.

Our Doctors
Patrick Retterath, MD

Dr. Retterath was raised in Lidgerwood, ND. He did his undergraduate degree at North Dakota State University, along with his medical degree. After completing his residency in Chicago for anesthesia and pediatric anesthesia Dr. Retterath chose to ultimately settle in South Dakota. After 20 years of anesthesia Dr. Retterath moved into pain management and in 2004 he opened Innovative Pain and Procedure Center. Dr. Retterath has completed over 35,000 injections. He continues to learn new procedures, techniques and treatments to better understand and treat acute & chronic pain.
